Landscaping Staff...
Roy Reingardt
"We are in love!" Roy responded when Pastor Davis asked him why he was
marrying Flo Gregory when they first talked in January of 2001. Roy a lifelong Sycamore
resident, had fallen for Flo when both were out walking in the their mobile home park. One
of Flo's good friends, Pat Howell, suggested she check to see if Pastor Davis would marry
the two love birds. After sharing with the two of them important marriage principles from
Scripture, the two were married in July of 2001.
Wanting to be a blessing, Roy agreed to make sure the landscaping schedule was kept
during the summer season. He makes sure that the works get done by a great volunteer staff
of guys. In addition to getting a bride in 2001, Roy repented, and was baptized in
Jesus name. After he repented, God delivered Roy from 50 years of smoking! "I
couldn't of done it without the Lord!" he stated. His new bride Flo, led him in
baptism and received the Holy Ghost during a song service. It's great to have them a part
of the United Pentecostal Church.
