Former Youth Pastor...Joe & Tamra Beardsley
This couple directs activities on a weekly basis. Some activities are designed for the pure enjoyment, entertainment, and zany nature of youth ministry. He and his wife co-ordinate fund raising events, suppers, and special services. Their spiritual leadership has been felt by not only the Junior High and High School Kids he teaches, but also the College Ministry he leads.
Sis. Beardsley, while in Murphysboro, attended a local college to get her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her careful attention to detail, diligence, and faithfulness has made her a valuable employee in the nursing field.

Moving to our church
from Rockford, Illinois, in 1999, Bro. and Sis. Beardsley have sought to be a blessing.
Our major need at that time was in the Youth Department. With their energetic vision, and
youthful energy, the young people have a great Youth Pastor.
By
day, he cuts hair at the University Barbers, a local barber shop which also employs other
family members. Born in a large family, Bro. Beardsley was raised to believe Apostolic
Truth. As a machinist, he decided he wanted to follow his father into the Barber trade.
After graduating from Barber School, he moved to Southern Illinois, were he began his own
barbering business, and helped his father build a church in Murphysboro. 
As a couple, they desire to be used by God. In June of 2003, Bro. and Sis.
Beardsley moved to Crystal Lake, IL, to begin a new work in the area. The church will
sorely miss their labor, but wishes them well in the new endeavor.
